I've been a professional photographer, for a number of years. My current passion is light painting. This technique allows me to explore the soul's essence, revealing the inner radiance of women through vibrant colors and dynamic compositions. My work celebrates collective intelligence and the luminous spirit within. Each shoot is a collaborative dance between me and my subject."
"This light painting series explores the female essence through light painting. The collaboration starts the moment the shutter has opened as I paint with the light in and around the model. Various light sources are used to illuminate her and careful movement is made from me to not be seen in the shot. The model muse be able to still for a long period of time in order to compose the shot. Each time I have created this type of imagery I invite the model to count when the shutter has opened. There are 3 continues shots that are happening in intervals as the shot is being composed by the camera. Once the shutter close I let the model know that it has closed and invite her to see what has been created on the screen of the camera. This was a new experience for me as a photographer because that type of invitation is never really given to the model as a shoot is in progress.

GENESIS
The first shot that captured the light as the night was in its beginning. Intention was not in perfecting shape but to capture the soul. Extreme quick movement to get in and out of shot 3 shot intervals were very short in this first shot.

PORTAL
The doorway entrance was revealed in illuminating, creating the soul circle and the light wave.

Creating the circle Halo was to resemble that of a flower waving with the wind.

This exploration extends to a series of self-portraits, which became a personal ritual of movement and creation. Drawing from movements learned in African dance class, I used my entire body to paint with light, mirroring the same physical, large-scale process I use in my oil paintings.
The resulting images are not just portraits, but acts of abstraction—dancing light, ancestral rhythms, and the body as a conduit for both. It’s a dialogue between technology and tradition, creating a visual language where light sculpts the future of feminine power. This project bridges the physical energy of painting with the ephemeral magic of light, capturing a spirit that is both deeply personal and universally resonant."
I added a cape of light to myself and controlled the camera with a remote and danced with light using my body as the brush.

This was a new experience for me as a photographer because that type of invitation is never really given to the model as a shoot is in progress. It was very introspective because the model and I are friends, and when I approached her with this type of shoot she took it very seriously She practed posing and being still before the shoot. She did not now that I would allow her to review the images as the session was happening. I think this enliven the shoot because we both were amazed at what was appearing after each shot.
BOUNDRIES
The light is behind and she pushed as if there was a wall was in front of her. Illuminating the model first and then painting with the light made this illusion possible as if she was pushing thought to a new experience.

When there is love and trust the aura dances with the soul. We were complete with playing with eh light. I turned on a solid light to start packing up the beach. There she was just Jasmin. I picked up the camera and started to shoot and in post we met her aura.
